Wanted 2009 Cobalt SS sedan (Canada)
#26
Wow, 1 of 64 white ones? Awesome.
Too bad mine is nowhere near stock anymore lol. But I will agree, having driven a few 2door LNF's, the SS Sedan is quite a bit more comfy and "family-feeling." I rocked a childseat in mine all summer, and she never had an issue with space back there. Its roomy, has quite enough passing power, and a stock LNF un-tuned will probably see 6-8L/100km with a combo of city/hwy driving. Even with mine, it bounces between 10-11L/100km, which isnt all that terrible, considering what my truck gets haha.
Good luck in the search Jon

Yeah, we were talking last night about this, and we both agree that although the C-SRT4 might be a better fit, it's not like we're going to come across these Cobalt SS sedan's every day, so we need to one of three things:
- write this one off for some reason (eg: colour),
- we need to seriously consider it,
- take it off our "potential" list because it is deemed as not suiting our needs/wants.
I think it would be kinda cool to have two 2009 Cobalt SS's at the house
Although the C-SRT4 sold for the same money, they appear to be holding value better, and to make matters worse, about 90% seem to be black (the one colour we are not even considering because my brother has one), so...
1) most are not a colour we would want,
2) of the remaining (90% seem to be orange & in Edmonton btw!) pretty much all are several grand higher than we're considering spending at this time (as an example, there's a blue one in Winnipeg that we would love to have, but it's $19k!!).

oh!
and this afternoon a salesman tried to sell us on an '07 Ion Redline;
he had his facts all messed up, because he:
1) suggested that the Saturn Ion was based off an Opel!!?! (Saturn Astra, yes; Saturn Ion, no)
2) suggested that the Saturn Ion Redline was 260hp!!?! (2008-2010 turbocharged Ecotec 'LNF' = 260hp; 2004-2007 supercharged Ecotec 'LSJ' = 205hp)
