2009 SS Sedan

2009 Cobalt SS TC Sedan (only year made)
the car is, in a word, MINT inside and out
less than 30,000 miles (mostly highway FL to NY and back)
Sport Red Tint Coat.
LSD.
Pioneer sound
I Pod accessory installed
Center arm rest
TWM Short Throw Shifter (sweet!)
GM Turbo Upgrade (GMS1)
Trifecta Select a Tune
Invisible bra. Professionally (Dupont trained) installed.
Weather Tech mats front and rear including trunk area. Might be a small item but those damn
things are expensive.
Shorty antenna
Trunk has been debadged except for "Cobalt"
LED center high mount brake light.
Original wheels AND tires, Continental's with plenty of life left, are on the car. I had been running Enkies with Dunlops till recently. Wheels are excellent.

I checked three appraisal sites and got the following;

Kelly Blue Book $14,825
Galves $14,175
Black Book $13,800

I guess I failed to mention these prices are all TRADE values. Most used car referrences are given in TRADE value. Kelly Blue Book does offer a private sale price. For this car it is $16,585 for a car in excellent condition which describes this car. Sorry for any problems caused by this error.

Consider all the above and make me an offer. The only clue I'll give you is the dealer is giving me $13,500 for the trade. If you've ever traded a car you know they're not taking into consideration all the extras. You take it from there.

And of course you get the balance of the 5 year (till Oct 2013) or 100,000 (70,000 left) mile warranty. It goes with the car.

I am the original and only owner. I'm a 67 yo retired truck driver. Bought the car in Oct 2008 (so mileage is exactly average). Only reason for selling is I'm finally admitting to myself I'm getting too old for all this fun. My face hurts every time I get a little frisky. And with the Trifecta I'm afraid it's going to give me a heart attack. 2012 Cruze LTZ is on order. Going for comfort and convenience in my old age. Like I said. Several trips every year from FL to visit grand kids in NY.

Car has NOT been beaten. But I HAVE had a lot of fun with it. Fresh oil (nothing but Amsoil) and filter has gone in every 5000 miles. Religiously. If the car has been run hard I'll change the filter only between oil changes. Brake fluid has been changed to a higher boil point, competitive type, fluid. It's German stuff. Don't even ask me to spell or pronounce the name of the stuff. Car will easily average 30+ mpg. IF you can resist putting your foot in the turbo.

Also available but NOT, repeat NOT!! included with the car are the following. Unless somebody wants the whole package in which case you better hurry before everything is split up. Everything is off the car.

1. Clear Image, stainless, catted DP w/ extra bung for wide band. Condition like new. How
the hell can you hurt a 3" diameter stainless pipe?
2. Clear Image charge pipes w/ceramic coating. Pipes are in excellent condition with normal
wear and tear unless you're building a show/no go car in which case a coat of paint is in
order. I was never ashamed to show my engine bay with them. All T bolt clamps are there
3. Clear Image Cold Air Intake. Also ceramic coated. Same description as the charge pipes.
Included is the "blue" silicone elbow between the pipe and turbo. This one doesn't
collapse. All T bolt clamps here too. All couplers for charge and intake pipes are there.
4. Autometer digital wideband and coolant temp gauges mounted on a piece of vinyl that
matches the color and texture of the console and just sits in the space occupied by the
drink holder with no mods to the car. I had all the wireing on connectors so I
could remove the gauges and reinstall the drink holder in seconds. It's a neat setup if I
do say so myself. Temp sensor will go with the car.
5. OTTP Engine mounts Stage 2 (both complete)
6. Curt Trailer hitch w/wiring harness. Before everybody goes bananas, it's a receiver
hitch that was going to be used for a bike carrier but was never used. I THOUGHT I
wanted to buy a bike and be cool riding up and down Daytona Beach. Bought the bike
THEN realized my 67 yo, retired truck driver, lower back wouldn't let me look cool. Sorry.
The bike has already been sold.
7. Enkei PF01 wheels. 18X8's Two of them are in excellent condition. One has a small,
almost invisible, ding. The fourth is another story. Enkei rep King said Enkei wheels ARE
straighenable, to a point. According to the description I gave him he referred me to a
franchise, Allied Wheel Repair Specialists, that does nothing but wheel repair and they
come to you. Unfortunately for me the franchisee in my county in FL gave up the
franchise and the guy in the next county wouldn't cross territories so I just forgot about
it and put two of the stock wheels on the car. There IS an explanation for the damage to the wheels but that's a whole other story. The wheels are wrapped with Dunlop
Direzza Sport Z1 Star Specs. The tires have some miles on them but there's at least
another 10,000 on them. And they already have OEM TPMS senders installed.
8. Set of headlights. As close to new as you can get. One is already split and the other
hasn't been split but the amber side marker lens is loose inside which makes it useless
without being split. I was going to build a projector conversion but never got around to it.
My lose your gain.

I am NOT going to take pictures of everything. Every item is still available from the manufacturers and pictures with descriptions can be found on line. I am pricing everything at 1/2 the price of new just to make it easy. But make me a reasonable offer. You never know.

If you want the whole package we can really deal. I can pick you up at Orlando or Daytona Airport and you can drive home with a bunch of horse power in the trunk.

I'm sure I forgot something but I want to get this posted tonight.

Happy trails.

I'd consider that offer to be pretty 'dickish' in and of itself.
