2009 white/eggshell tc 8k
i copied this from my craigslist ad.
Up for sale is my 2009 cobalt ss turbo., 71,000 miles. I've owned it from new and have all documents for work done at the dealer.
The good
- very mechanically solid
- lsd, sunroof car
- 60k maintenance just done, fresh plugs, belts, intake cleaning done (because of the direct injection carbon builds up on the intake runners, this maintenance cleans this)
- tires have about 75% of life left continental DWS
- car is completely stock
- inspection until 4/13
- miles are all highway, I commute 50 miles a day
Bad
- car was in an accident and hit on the passenger side and spun into a parked car. all body work was done, car painted, and all parts replaced. with that said the paint does not match (insurance only covers the body panels and they would not blend the paint, i've argued until I was blue in the face with them).
- car needs bushings all the way around. I have them I have not put them in, they will be included with the sale. I can also have them replaced but I will need my full asking price.
- the info button on the steering wheel does not work, for some odd reason the back button cycles through the menu on the dash and also resets everything. I never had it looked at because it has always worked. UPDATE this has become sporadic and will not always work, something else that needs to be looked at.
- the airbag light is on, needs a new sensor to work I've been told.
- all 4 wheels have curb rash. 2 slight, 1 kind of nasty, and the last a few at the lips.
price is obo, I do not have the title to the car, I still owe on it. The loan is through 5th third bank, after the payment the bank stated the title will be in my hands in 7-10 business days. I will do everything in my power to rush this (send the check overnight with enough to cover the overnight shipping back. etc). In PA there is no way around this. You will have to pay the car off first, then wait for the title to come in before you can drive away with the car. When you buy the car I will stop driving it, take pictures of the mileage everyday for you, whatever makes you feel better but there is no way around this.
I do have more pictures, if you need any i will take them.
any other questions just email me.

A "bad" title is when it has a salvaged or reconstructed title from an accident or theft. which means the accident was so bad that the insurance company would not pay for repairs because the damaged exceeded the cars value. This hasn't happened to me so the title still shows clear.
Payoff is 8k so that's why I'm asking 8. I want a house and this is in the way
Yea parallel parking everyday with curbs like that on narrow streets is not friendly for wheels. I can tell you that rim on curb sound is by far the worst sound I've ever heard

im glad theres a nicer white one out there to make up for it, btw for next time u make the deal with tthe body shop not the insurance company, if not go somewhere elts, someone will do it
Yea, basically everything you can do wrong in a insurance situation I did and I'm paying for it now. Made me realize that insurance is a giant Ef you and they do not have your best interest in mind like they say they do. Live and learn, I will not make the same mistakes again
