2010 Black Cobalt SS/Tc 14k miles

Been kicking around the idea of selling my ss. It's a 2010 with just about 14,000 miles. It's black on black with the low spoiler, rpd unit, sunroof, and LSD. This is my 3rd vehicle and it rarely gets driven. I am the original owner. The car comes with a full manufacturers transferable warranty, two sets or keys, and all manuals. Car was very well cared for, only mobil 1 oil changed every 2500 miles.

The car does have a few bolt on parts but can easily be brought back to stock if the new owner chooses to do so. It has an injen hot pipe, zzp intercooler, zzp air intake tube with k&n drop in filter, zzp catted down pipe, and a BYT hp/trifecta tune. With the above mods, minus the intercooler, she put down 311 hp and 371 tq. The car also has pedder springs and an Ottp street rear sway bar. With the above configuration it is an absolute blast to drive. Great handling, nice power, and 33 mpg on the highway.

The only reason I am selling it is lack of use. I am getting older and getting away from the car scene. Selling a few of my toys would allow me to purchase some new ones I have been looking. I Am looking for $20,000 or best offer. I know there are cheaper ones out there but this is a one owner, low mileage car with the right parts. No expense was spared when buying parts or doing maintenance. I still have all the original parts that will go with the sale.

If you are looking for a clean, adult owned car feel free to send me a pm or email with any offers or questions.

email is Steve.Gabrielidis@yahoo

Only pics i have of the car are on stock springs and stock intercooler

If I had an extra 3-4k I could swing I would love to take this off your hands! Best of luck with sell man, you definitely deserve a good price for that thing.

I see a pattern here. BNRacing lists his car for sale. People say it's too high. Did it ever even sell? Anyway, then bmain lists his car for sale and people say it's too high. BNRacing posts in bmain's thread saying that the price is right. OP makes this FS thread and people say the price is too high. bmain posts in this thread basically what BNRacing said in bmain's FS thread.

So here's the formula. Seller lists car on CSS. Seller gets told the price is too high. Seller comes back saying that the same car is selling for the asking price elsewhere "out there" (in the real world, not css I guess). So then the question is, if your car is selling for a higher price "out there" than what you're being offered "in here," then why don't you just go sell it "out there?????"

Just kind of funny.

I have nothing against any of the prices (especially the car in this thread). A seller can ask what they want and a buyer can offer what they want. The real value is whatever it ends up selling for.

Things that sellers should consider are:

- Car "value" on kbb or nadaguides is a reference.
- Seeing what others are asking for on autotrader and elsewhere does not tell you what the cars are actually selling for.
- Mods (generally speaking) are bad. People who mod cars don't want it because they'd rather start with a clean slate. Plus, most people who would mod a car don't want to be labeled as "bought not built." People who want stock cars will stay away from a modded car because they assume it was beatin on (pretty safe assumption most of the time, especially on here).
- Mods don't add value. You can't say, "My car is worth $5,000.00 and I put $5,000.00 into it so I'm gonna ask $8,000.00." You're better off going back to stock and selling the mods for whatever you can get for them and then selling the car for whatever you can get for it.
- We're talking about $15-20K cars here. Most people on this forum are young and can't afford a car in that price range. Those that can already have one (that's why they're here).

GLWS OP. IMO the price is good but, like I said, that doesn't matter.

It's a used car, mods do not increase the value. Even though it looks in good condition it's still a used car, they go down in value. So $16,000 to $17,000 it might sell, at $20,000 it will most likley take up space in your drive way while you wait forever for someone to buy it.

I just dont see the point in someone wanting a stock car to mod it themselves and pay retail price for parts and be higher than it would be to buy a slightly modded car. Or they will buy used parts to save some money.

I guess I'll just demodd, sell the parts and sell a stock car.

I was asking 19-20k hoping for 17-18. I dont think thats a bad price for the condition, miles and extras

I've had a few trade in offers locally for 16-17k for my 2010. They are selling for 19-20k. People just low ball on this forum because they can get a 2008 for like 13k
