Selling my baby, bought an 06 ss/sc g85, no room for her. 86' monte carlo ss white with blue/grey interior. New .60 over 350 engine @500 hp at crank with about 50-60 miles on it, new custom built th350 with manual valve body and hurst shifter (quarter stick). custom center console autometer gauges (oil pressure, fuel pressure, tach w/low oil pressure warning light, amp meter, voltage meter, water temp) w/ extra set of gm performance white face gauges. three sets of rims and tires new Holley 850 cfm double pumper had it honed, re-jetted, and changed to 50cc squirters, torqer II intake manifold w/ spare Holley Strip Dominator, Comp Cams extreme energy HE284 (507/510 lift) new crane hydraulic lifters, Crane Magnum roller tip rockers w/ 1.52 ratio , spare set of harlen sharpe 1.6 roller rockers with stud girdle, (have to change rocker studs to 3/8), new edlebrock fuel pump. Posi rear w/ 4:10 gears, new brake lines , powerslot rotors and ceramic pads. Motor is a 4-bolt main 350 bored 60 over w/l82 vette crank and rods and kieth black pistons, ported L-82 heads with 2.02 / 1.60 valves. body has @87,000 miles on it (no speedo since tranny was installed, so no odometer). full 3" exhaust from torque tech in Altanta, GA. with flow master 2 chamber mufflers, G-Force tranny crossmember, 15/8 long tube headers, Haayes lightweight SFI fly wheel 168 tooth, high torque miny starter, Hypertech 50,000 volt coil and 8.5mm plug wires, gel battery, line locks (just need to reconnect switch). Many other spare parts, carbs, valve covers, cams, wheels (stock, weld drags w/skinnies, and 17 inch fittapaldi rims custom widened to 17x10.5 in the rear w/ 2 new 285 40zr17 bf goodrichs on them), original interior parts, extra rear bumper, and taillights. Has minor rust on quarters by tires and very little on the bottom of the doors. Factory non-a/c car less power windows and locks. Needs a little tlc but is a strong runner and mechanically brand new... all parts have less than a 100 miles on them.. motor alone was over $4000.00 asking $4500 for whole package. I just need to get the starter replaced... under warranty factory defect... should have it back soon ... Nice freaking Monte. Yea Most of the people here thought bought cobalts. your best bet is to put it in your local paper, or post it up on KBB.com or CARS.com. Sounds to me like many muscle car enthusiasts would be attracted to her.

 

yeah I know.... I have it all over... I saw many different cars up here besides cobalts so I figured I give it a try,.... She is an animal.... just don't have any time anymore... plus I keep hearing about all these mods for the ss....

 

too bad ya have to get rid of her. i/m about 1/4 way through the preoces of doing a frame off on a 87 mote ss. full load, black with factory red pinstripe. i like the hood on yours, i was thinking a 2" though. yours looks like a 4" cowl. anyways, nice car!!
