I've seen these before where the "carfax" checks out but somehow the report shows no issues. When you run an autocheck (the more accurate of the big two in my experience) it comes up as frame/unibody damage.

 

A guy in my neighborhood was looking at an hhr ss there it was insanely overpriced and looked pretty beat up

I wouldn't doubt it, a lot of these independent dealers are really shady and really will do anything to make a profit.

I was looking for an LNF sedan but it looks like there just to few and I'm not willing to overpay to play. There was a white one near me in Austin, was about to get traded in to Covert Ford but apparently the douchebag couldn't handle his wife and backed out on a two car trade (apparently he had two LNF's) that the dealer had already made a promise to me.

 

When did the lnf come with leather seats?

 

They're definitely overstating that
It should say leather-like trimmed seats since there is just a couple pieces around the edges

 

Also was thinking maybe it's original owner switched seats with a previous gen owner for cash since the vehicle was being totalled out.

 

So what does frame damage meen in a unibody car?

From what I've been reading the damage could be minimal like a bumper replacement, up to serious frame damage.

Just look at the dates though, that really tells the story for me. The car went a Whole calendar year and three months just to get it back on the road. To me that means some serious repairs where made.

I almost bought that car about 2 weeks ago and bank found it was screwed up and if you look at pics you can see there no gauge in car and vents in middle on driver side is fucked up and there no button for emergency lights it's a bullshit car and there alot going on with it that nobody knows

 

Thats crazy and seems like the car has been sold

 

Probably dealer got rid of it cause I called him and he acted like he didn't know about it at all
