i need to get rid of my car because im going away to college and wont be able to afford it and make payments on something i wont be driving. anyway its an 04 saturn ion redline w/ 38k miles on it. non smoker vehicle and kept very clean at all times. don't use it much for racing, mostly for looks. heres my list of mods that have been done:

-competition boost gauge w/ ladder tach
-amishland wire harness for the boost gauge
-gm stage 1 and 2 kit
-ngk one range colder spark plugs
-nates 2.9 pulley
-ingalls tq dampener
-k&n cold air intake
-b&m short throw shifter
-custom borla exhaust w/ stock tip
-aero spoiler (smaller spoiler also available)
-head light mod (blacked out housing) w/ brand new silverstar ultra turning and head lights
-custom red grill mesh
-tinted side markers
-blacked out saturn emblems
-red calipers w/ saturn logo
-new gm stock rotors along w/ new ceramic break pads from zzp
-new taillights (originally were tinted)
-powered by ecotec decals on side skirts
-ecotec supercharged engine cover
-ss/sc badge on trunk

car still has a warranty til november 2009 but can be renewed for another 2 years by november

the car also has a 6 disk cd changer w/ mp3 format and aas system (6 speakers instead of 4)
moon roof
recaro seats blue/black

i would like 1500 plus take over payments, 298 a month for my car. i put a lot of time and money into it and i would want the next owner to deff appreciate it

18k a lil over a year ago. was in like new condition w/ warranty, low ass miles and 1 owner. car brand new costs the same as a cobalt ss s/c which is 23k

You will be lucky to break even. It is a five year old car and most people do not want the first year production model(RL). You don't want to hear my honest answer on how much it is worth.

 

no u missed out on the original price. i was asking for 14,500 but changed it to 2k and take over payments. then changed it to 1500 and take over payments, now 1000 and take over payments. btw kbb says the car is worth 13,700 and thats a bone stock rl so you can tell me how much its worth

 

btw the car was made in september 04 so technically its just over 4 years old

$12.5 is a bit steep - that's more than some '04 GTOs are going for (and right on par with most).

Drop that price a couple grand, get rid of (or repaint or, preferably, replace with stock) those cheesy-ass red mesh grilles and I might take a serious bite.

A drop and some tint and that would make a great DD.

I'm not too familiar with these models, however - do they come with the nice Pioneer system the '05-up Cobalt SS's did?

yeah im selling the car so im going to go spend hundreds of dollars to tint it just for you. plus i asked for or best offer which means the price is not 12.5. car is now sold so doesnt matter anyway

 

No, you misunderstood me. I wanted you to replace/repaint/return to stock the red grilles. That was the only thing I would have asked of you as a seller and I would have paid more to do so.

I would have dropped the car and tinted it myself, making it a great DD for me. Good job getting back to my questions quickly, though - I was a very interested buyer.
