NEED TO SELL FAST!! 06 Cobalt 2LT 4 Door

Some members on here have seen this car before and can vouch for how clean it is!!

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/833031974.html

I have this beautiful 2006 Cobalt 2LT for sale or to take over payments. To make a long story short, I bought this car for a friend. She was making all the payments for over a year and then decided she didn’t want it anymore and gave it back to me. I NEED TO SELL THIS CAR as I have my own car payment already.

The car looks and drives awesome. I detailed it, inside and out, last Sunday then drove it around and got 2 compliments in 2 hours. Hard to see the metallic in the pictures….but it’s very, very shiny. It gets 35+ mpg on the highway. I, myself, took the car to Las Vegas and back in August 2007 and got 32 mpg w/4 people and a trunk full of luggage. My (now ex) friend took it to Phoenix and back by herself and got 35.7 mpg out of it. Comfy for long trips. Drives very easy….pretty much effortlessly.

1 bad thing is the 2 tires in back were just rotated after 25K miles that were put on them. So, the front ones are brand new looking still. Shouldn’t wear the back out if you don’t rotate them for another 20K miles or so. Continental ContiTouringContact tires on it. Great ride and very expensive….they came on the car, brand new, when bought from Winter Chevrolet in May 2007 w/19K miles.

Now the good things (I like to mention the bad first) - It has always had synthetic oil changes w/Mobil 1 oil. The other awesome thing is the car has a bumper to bumper GM Extended Service Plan until 80K miles. Fully transferrable. GAP insurance is on this car as well.

Now for the part everyone hates talking about….money!! If someone could get a loan on this and take it off my hands…that would be ideal!! If you are someone that can’t get a loan and wants to take over payments of $398.XX per month….we can write out a contract for that as well. All I ask up front is the one payment it’s behind for a down and pay the September payment by the 18th when it’s due.

If interested or have ANY questions…please feel free to call me @ 916-752-7142 or PM me and we’ll discuss it. My name is Jevaun

i don't think so either....but i'm going to refi the car when i get a new job to reduce the payment if someone takes it over. Plus there are people that want a car that can't get a loan.....and have money.

i would put a full price up but it's upside down by about 3K at the moment. i'm in the process of suing the person that the car was for and am going to apply whatever award i receive to the balance of the car to make it worth more than the loan is

i've only seen this color on 3 other 'balts. one LT coupe in my town, a 4 dr just like it (in Reno), and a LS coupe in my town. It's totally rare....catches everyone's eye...especially after a fresh detail

the problem isn't witht he payment, it's with what you owe on the cobalt. You probably owe WAY more than blue book on the car and no one will take it over. 06 cobalt LT's probably worth $8-10k, and judging by your payments, it seems you paid about $20000 for it or you got a really high interest rate. Either way you still probably owe over $15k for it. no fun. Sorry dude

you are right about a couple things....it's worth $13K retail. Owe almost exactly $15k on it now. I bought it certified for $15k plus $1.5k for the warranty. $1.5K down. Yep...its a shitty interest rate...lol....hence the high payment. 18.5%...ewwww I know. But like I said...i'm going to refi...which I know I can do and apply whatever i get from the law suit toward the balance of the car.

Its a process but I don't like doing people dirty and try to make everything right. The refi and suit $$ should make the right deal.
