you do need to care what people think its worth if your going to try and sell it for 30k. You cant put 16 grand into a cobalt, sell it and expect even 1/4 of what you invested, a cobalt isnt a car you sell for a downpayment on a house, no matter how nice it is.

Its a very nice car and lots of work put into it, but seriously, if you have a 26k offer, you should take it before that person comes to their senses and backs away.

It's similar to the Koni challenge Cobalts they were selling for 50k. Is it pricey yes. If it's what you really want then it's worth it.

He has alot of one off things that could make his car very valuable to the right person.

i know you put more into it then that, thus why i said its your loss, unfortunately, to put that kind of money into cars like ours that hold no value, you have to be prepared to keep it. Like you obviously made good money to afford all these parts so why not wait and save up for a down payment?
