Talon tsi awd or eclipse gsx or gs-t

i am lookin to get a second car and make it into a fast little car i can take to the track or just run it around town while i have my cobalt as my DD since its goin to cost me alot to build my cobalt into a 12sec under car and i can't afford to hav my DD to be undrivable for any period of time. i want the 95-99 body style eagle talon tsi awd or a eclipse gs-t or ecipse gsx that is a manual trans and in decent shape. i lookin to spend less then $1000 since i'm goin to probably build up the motor to make it a reliable track car but still want to be able to drive it while i'm doin that sp it has to be drivable at sale. While settle for an earlier body style only if awd and its still drives good and price is good.

Only get an AWD. Don't waste your time with FWD. And be ready for the money pit those cars become.

You could deff find a nice shell for a good price. and since ur looking for a project and building it anyways, it's deff a option.

i found a nice 93 eclipse gsx for $950 thats bein sold by a buddy's friend that just wanted to get rid of it, i'm just waiting for him to get bac to me
it has a JDM valve cover and intake manifold, new driver and passenger cv axles and shocks, downpipe back 3' exhaust, full turbonetics 2.5 intercooler kit with big front mount intercooler, HKS SSQ BOV, Buchar racing manual boost controller, Autometer 20 psi boost/vac guage with dual mounted guage pod, 17' black ICW racing wheels with polished lip, carbon fiber hood and original hood which is in great shape, it just has a small problem w/ one of the valves

If it has valve issues it might have skipped timing, which is not good.. so watch out for that. oh and dont fall for the whole JDM thing.. there all the same.
