so my brother has just turned 16 and has a decent amount of saved up money to put down on a car... after talking with him and him liking my cobalt so much but not wanting to have the same exact car i do we decided on an ION redline.

so if anyone knows of any for sale, from stock to lightly modded and in good shape. please let me know. we live in the midwest and are willing to travel around there area for a good deal.

How much is he looking to spend?

Does he want LSD? If so make sure to look for an 05 or newer with the Competition package. They will have the gunmetal wheels and the steering column mount boost gauge.

I know a guy in Osh who was trying to sell an 04 ION but it would not have LSD.

Heck. I would let mine go for a decent price. I have been thinking about getting some thing with RWD.

wow....i have an ion redline and am willing to sell it.

i live in south carolina but there are two cobalt ss/tc for sale in your area for less than 17k with only 80 miles....no joke

thing is the dealer prolly wont give me what its worth so i would be cutting it close.

its an 05 with 33k miles. its blue. mods are stage 2, and full clear image exhaust.

hey guys thanks for all the help and sorry it took me so long ot get back to you all ut i got mad and roke my computer a while ack and i just got a new one so i am good to go now...

but an update on my little bro...

he actually got his license today but we did find him a car in mid december and got it

its a red 2005 ION Redline. it already has a AEM intake and strut bar... i am am giving him a stage 2 kit i have had sitting around and we got him a muffler so now i just have to make his exhaust. it should e on next week... catback 2.5" no rez. just muffler tip.

he should be around the forums in the next few days.

it runs... but i am not driving it... i still am burning oil but it doesnt seem to be blow by.. i think the rings DID seat. i think its somewhere in the head is the problem
