Yes it was a low ball but I would have done the same. Some people don't know what stuff is worth so why pay more than you have to. But to mr.Saab I do know what they are worth so sorry. 425 is closer to what I would take but I am going to try and sell local first

I will take pics. They totaled the car but it's not that bad. It looks worse than it is. The air bags are going to be the most expensive part.

Airbags aren't that expensive any more. That was something insurance agencies used for the first few years to get out of fixing cars because of the secondary damage they do to the vehicle. That isn't so much a factor and hasn't been for the past 4 to 5 years.

I still think the most costly part of your repair was the frame machine and the labor to do that type of pull.

Waiting for pictures... I do estimates now at a large body shop, so once i see the photos i will be able to tell you where that amount of money was calculated from.

Thanks for posting the pics. It ain't to bad. The radiator support is pushed to the intake but it didnt hurt the engine. The main support did however take alot more hit than I thought. The frame is bent on the ends pretty good.

lol kind of what i've been saying for the past 4 pages. Now i know he may be a mechanic and that's good but from just looking at what i see. I would have totaled that car as well. When that support is shoved so far back it hits the motor. We wouldn't even take the time at my shop to even attempt to pull that back. There is too many variables that can be wrong and with that much of a stretch out then back, the car will never be safe again in the front. Insurance company did the right thing. I really hope you just part this out and not drive it.

I am going to fix it. It's not that bad. The part that hit the motor is just the radiator support. The car is going to a local body shop Saturday for the new radiator support to be installed along with the new crash bumper installed. The fix is going to be easy. Like I said before the airbags an seatbelts are goin to be the expensive part. I ran the engine 1 hour ago. It's all go to go.

Hell yeah I'd love to see it fixed up! May make some people uneasy to drive it, but now you have a SS/TC for half of what you owed on it, haha.

I will feel safe driving the car. The only real damage was the radiator support which was easily cut out an replaced
