Wings can be swapped don't need the whole trunk. LSD is an awesome option unless you plan on using the car for a DD only. If not then you should get the LSD. If you buy a car look at the tires it will tell you a lot about the car unless it has new tires!

How can you tell if the car has LSD or not.. I am going to go look at 1 tomorrow perhaps - its at a dealer.


I don't know if I will go to the track or if I do barely at all - will be a DD in North NJ. I am going to go with k&n drop in since no intakes really seem to be hassle free and proven power gains.. drop in k&n along with catless dp, stock catback, and charge piping.


I am worried about driving the car in the winter... do all season or summer tires come stock? Since the wheels are 18s.. if I got snow tires would it even help since 18 is pretty big for the car? Anyone have exp driving in the snow or any impressions?







Also.. has this car been lowered? I know the rear is modified with the tails painted black or whatever the previous owner did -

spear tire location...goto it, then there is a sticker on the left almost under the sub....if something says G85 then its a lsd equpped car! hope that helps


and yes that one is lowered

 

If your getting it from a dealer the window sticker should say the options on it!

You won't find an '08 in white. Chevy didn't make a Cobalt SS in that color for that model year. You'll find them in the '09s though, but they're rare.

well mine is Black with Black interior. I just eclipsed 12000k miles ( i did a trip to VA and Myrtle beach). I have synapse charge piping, Hahn intake, CIA downpipe, Hurst STS, set of SS/NA winter tires and all the stock parts still. Ill let it go for $17 if you want it. PM me if you are serious. My reason for getting rid of it is because i kinda want an apartment or RWD used car.

 

I have an 09 SS/TC Black with black interior, only has 1,300 miles on it. Was giving it to my daughter but she is not interested in the 5 speed. I need 20k for it. I know it's out of your price range but thought i'd try. It does also have 6 year 60k bumper to bumper GM warranty that I bought for it at the time of purchase in March.

 

by the looks of it.. lowered, Aem intake, tint, and prob other things also. and it says it has "300 hp" lol
