So I would need to buy stage 2, stage 3, an exhaust, neutral balance shafts, high speed valve springs, and nitrous to reach the full potential of stage 3....

umm arent you guys forgeting the there are controls in hptuners to disable your a/c. So all you'd have to do is hook hptuners up to it and enable the a/c again...

to be honest it isn't a bad setup ... plug the custom computer when your going to the track then unplug it when you get back and keep warrenty ... at least thats the way it should work but whatever. plus when warrenty is gone add some juice to the mix and your over 300hp when you need it

Kits are in stock!!
they could at least include the tee for the dual pass in the kit I just priced one out today and my cost is $1260 Canadian. That is quite a bit for a pulley,Pcm and a dual pass plate.
I am sure a custom tune could do the same.

Do you have to run the dual pass if you run this stage 3 pcm?

There isn't something in the software that would make it necessary to run the dual pass right?

Well because I would rather just buy the PCM for $325.00 and just install a biger heat exchanger. I already have a 2.9" pulley so this tune would be perfect for me. All I need is the PCM. Better than spending over $700.00 for the whole thing when I only need the PCM.

Do you think we really need to replace the o-ring seals on the endplate? I was gonna try to reuse mine when I modify my original endplate.

I would just to make sure.. they are only 20 and 30 dollars.. u might as well

and as far as switching between HOM and regular mode i think going through the DIC to change it would be a pain in the ass.. I would rather have a seperate controller like the Turbotoys on the SRT-4 that has a specific button for HOM. Unless GM made it where u hit the "i" button or return button a couple times or something

so with the nitrous.. are the stock plugs good, or do we need to swap those out? so i guess this motor can handle alot more power then most people think... with the 8k redline and the 50 shot.. i'm starting to wonder if the people who have blown up did so because of custom tunes.. by the sounds of this stage 3 pcm.. everything should be tuned just right for the 100 octane and nitrous.. should be able to push over 300hp easliy with that setup.

now i don't get the 260hp with 100 octane gas, who is driiving around on 100 octane and if thats all i'm getting is 15 more horsepower. where the heck do you get 100 octane or 93 for that matter they don't sell it around here!

PS Not impressed with stage 3
