1/4 Mile ..

Hi,

Does anyone know if there's a "How To" on how to race in the 1/4 mile? I just bought a SS/SC 2006 and I would like some suggestions mainly for 1st and 2nd gear. I've noticed that if you put the pedal to the floor, you aren't going anywhere.

Any suggestions would be appreciated before I head out to the track.

Thanks

Gabriel

hmm 145lb should be good for at least a tenth off you time and maybe an extra mph or two. i dunno i think of weight reduction as a last resort after your fully bolted up. ive done it on my old cars and its kinda disappointing when you run faster, cause you know your not going to be that fast on the street, unless ure ghetto and run no interior at all times lol
