he was commenting on how long 4 cylinders have been running under 10s, which i also added to. i was commenting that street racing a 7 second car is not very smart. thats way too fast for street racing, could cause a lot of deaths.

Soo much fail. U going to build this LSJ? I dont think so.

How many STREET DRIVEN PRIVATELY OWNED cobalts are running better than 12's? Maybe less than .00001%?

r u arguing that ppl dont build 10 sec 4 cylinders? cuz if thats true then i got a few for ya, lol. hell i was just watching past time on speed
and they had TWO civics that some guys had built by themselves run 10.2 and 10.6, lol.

if ur talking about 4 cylinders not running 10s that are privately owned, ur an idiot.

if ur talking about cobalts, u got a point.

Are you refering to the Direct Injection setup that the 08 and 09's have? I don't think that would work with DI.

As for a standard fuel injection setup that makes sense. I have seen similar setups on other cars.

this is what I have been talking about. 99.9999999% of my posts make perfect sense to those people who read them correctly. The fact u thought I was disputing 10 or less sec 4 bangers is just retarded.

Im going to have to agree with out on this. If the guys running 400+ whp on the LSJ havent made 11's yet, when is it going to happen?

wait like a year... hahn's goal is to have a bolt on kit for the ss/tc that allows the car to be daily driven and run HIGH 11'S on radials all day long... like they did for the srt-4 i believe

THIS IS TAKEN DIRECTLY OFF OF HAHN RACECRAFTS SS/TC PAGE

"As many of you know, Hahn RaceCraft has led the way with turbocharged Ecotecs since their emergence in the US with the 2002 Cavalier and Sunfire. Along the way, we've raised the bar repeatedly for Ecotec Turbo performance, while introducing hundreds of Ecotec owners to the sublime advantages of Turbocharged Power. Our very first Eco-effort won the prestigious GM Design Award at SEMA, an impressive 12-second, stock engine EcoCav show car that ran 12's with our bolt-on TurboSystem. We haven't looked back since, with more records and firsts than all others combined.

We're proud to bring our 20 years of GM FWD Turbo Performance to bear on this exciting new application of the LNF Turbo! We've had a great time with this engine so far in Solstice/Sky and HHR, and now it's the Cobalt's turn.

Products we'll offer include:

Our popular 3" Stainless Steel exhaust system, prized for its sound, valued for its HP

PPC Tuner

Intercooler Upgrade

Piping Upgrades

S20G Turbo Upgrade

....and much more!

The goal? High 11's on radials, stock engine, just like we did with our SRT-4. This is going to be fun!"

I know all about this "kit". Ive been watching for it since 06. I even called hahn about it since I want to see it on a sky rl ( my next vehicle of choice ). Back then they said they were almost done with it. I guess they were mistaken.

If an LNF Cobalt can hit a 125mph trap speed regardless of the ET, thats as good as a solid 10 sec 1/4 mile in my book.

some of you guys are funny. those privately owned 400+whp cars only have one thing holding them from 11s. and thats called street suspension/tires. i guarentee you put a cage in one of those car. stiffen up the suspension. put a nice set of slicks up front w/ skinnies in the back. proper burnout with the right launch. easily an 11second pass
