Nice time and MPH, but I would have figured much faster considering the car is completely stripped out and an auto.

Nice, but that was only 16 psi and 330 whp, so I think if he ups the boost a bit he will be in the 10's

I don't know how much he picked up in the back 1/8th but I think that's where he's really moving I'm guessing around 33mph in the back 1/8th.

Yeah. I know Fred. I found it on youtube accidently, and I didn't know he boosted it. 330whp now...I can't imagine what he's going to run with 450whp. Low 10s? 9s? At what point do you need a NHRA license?

heh, you'd be surprised...it took us 550-600 WHP to go mid 10's @ 139 in a 2670 lb. street car. The power requirement goes up exponentially to gain ET and MPH.

Video of 10-second pass

Video of 606 WHP dyno run

One needs an NHRA license to exceed 10.00 seconds or 135 MPH.

350 whp in the video. The power is up. Nice for a, what , 2200 lb car. To bad it's not street legal car.

For clarity, I'd like to emphasize that this post is not referring to our car (I thought this might get misconstrued by a casual reader of the thread).

Yes, very cool stuff

I am sure it's just a matter of time before more 'Balts join these ranks. The Cavaliers and Sunfires are more prevalent now for the simple reasons of affordabilty....it's so much easier to justify heavy mods on one.
