Your car looks sic! NOS will do that man, could you just imagine how sweet your ride would be with a turbo kit and NOS? How much of a shot you using?

yeah nice time dude. but that def. sux about the manifold. maybe you should look into a metal one, that would be harder to blow to pieces.

The aluminum ones are friggin expensive, 1500...and the plastic probably saved the engine...

And thanks for the comments on how the car looks, infact, the carbon fiber trunk and center section of the wing up showed up and are in my possesion, I'm wondering what I'm going to do about the hood now, but the entire car should look sick now.

I'm just waiting on the electronics for the Garrett kit and sold...it'd be mine. I'm running a 75 shot actually.

you definitely need to get rid of that stock exhaust manifold, even if it's just for an LSJ one. thats part of whats keeping your traps low and power dropping off up top with the 75. open that flow up for the rest of the exhaust volume you're creating.

Yeah, the exhaust manifold is so restrictive...but that'll get taken care of down the road. There's no doubt in my mind that if the car hooked up again and there were some supporting mods it'd be down to a 14.3 or a bit lower. I don't know how the hell I got a 97mph trap with a 15.2 though.

wheelspin brother lol, I've trapped 98-100 with a 15.2-15.0 ET, but the 60' was also 2.6-3.0 hahaha. torque tends to do that

if you can hook, it'll pull you through quicker than it feels like, thats for sure haha. with the stock manifold on there and downpipe I was trapping 98-99mph and turning 14.5-14.4 consistently with a 2.3 60' that could have been lower honestly. once you get your pedaling down it'll be there. where are you shifting at for 1-2 and 2-3 3-4? you're still running a stock head with no cleanup on it right?

I'm changing my head gasket this weekend (actually unrelated to the nitrous too, go figure haha) but when she's back together I'm going to see if I can get a few passes on video for you, maybe give you some ideas too. PM or get me on AIM if you have any questions/ideas, I might be able to help you out.

Yeah, I was spinning all the way through first on the 15.2 run. As for head gasket, I'm still running the stock one.

I'm not running the nitrous that often and I'll be going through an engine rebuild soon, so that'll be the time when things get changed out.

yeah the stock head gasket will be fine, mine is from another issue that I had before.

if your setup is done right you can run nitrous without much if any increased wear on the engine, just be smart about it. I dont' think you'd have to worry about it though after talking to you today haha. I used to go through 20-30lbs a night/weekend and it never skipped a beat, so no worries.

well seeing how my car is very close to yours, Same kit, 18s, lowered, but no stereo should be close to same times haha. Thats what I meant for the 2.2 times to beat. I got a zex kit and purge kit local as soon as my wheels sell....

haha I'm more interested in your trap speed. getting a 2.2 to trap around 100 and over is an accomplishment in itself

Man im sorry about that ****......you got a better trap because you spun bad off the line with ur 15.2 run, when you actually hook you get a lower trap and a lower e/t.....Next time go WOT man it is much safer.....and what rpms did you sent the zex window switch at?

Window switch was set to come on at 4,000 rpms and I did go WOT, that's what caused the kaboom!

And yes the intake manifold is plastic, if you would like a few pieces from the exploaded one, I can send you a few .

huh? was it too big of a shot? because if you had a window switch and a WOT thats the safest combo you can get? and with nitrous your always suppose to go WOT, if you dont, then it goes kaboom..lol
