2008 Blackjack Roush 3
2008 Blackjack Roush 3
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about these cars. Been doing some research on them. 430 hp, pretty nasty car. My friend just bought one. Dont think I will be racing this car unless I really mod up from what I have. It is a good looking car, beleive there are only 100 made. Cant find a 1/4 mile time on them althought they do 0-60 in 4.4.
Thanks
Thanks
it's a 3valve with a supercharger. Shouldn't be that hard to look up stats. I've seen plenty of blown 3 valves and 2 valves and I wasn't impressed. Maybe they all don't do it right in Nebraska.
Pretty much the same as the Roush 427R, they put down in the mid 300 range in hp to the wheels on average, and run high 12's. Not very impressive, 03/04 Cobra, or GT500 is what I would buy instead. Way more potential!!
gonna throw the B.S. flag on the LS1 destruction of a Roush Charged stang....... an maybe something is just right about MS cuz there some fast ass stangs down there i personally know 2 different 2v's that are N/A both about to break into the 11's 1 is auto and other is 6sp ........an 02 and 04 Gt
alright im 17. nice math buddy. and if you look anywhere roushcharged stangs run 13.6. with what my dad has hes running between a 13.0-13.2. so good job on the research. fail on both your behalfs
You quoted the first hit from Google on the Roush stage 3 1/4 mile times. Most guys that can drive, aka not MotorWeek, have gone high 12's.
13.6?
Look **** up before you post it.
It is if you can find the traction. Get the tires to hook up and you'll hit 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and 100 mph in 11 seconds flat. The quarter mile arrives in 13.1 seconds at 108.8 mph. Not too shabby, although a stock 2010 Mustang GT will hit 60 mph in 4.9 seconds and the quarter in 13.5 seconds at 104.2 mph. Still that's least a tick or two off what should be possible, at least by the estimates of road test editor Scott Mortara.

And yes, 12's have been hit stock. ^

they only got a 13.0 out of it.
an LS1 with a lid, throttle body and cat-back is really opened up and can run those times so why dont you GTFO
