2nd time at the track and question
Last night I went back to the track for the 2nd time.
1st time my car ran 16.6's. This time however I ran 16.3's all night at aroun 83.5-84.9 MPH.
My fastest time of the night was a 16.302 at 83.8 MPH with a .55 reaction time. (Yes i know reaction times dont account for anything but i got a good one on this run so i posted it.)
My question is if i get the Injen CAI, what would my estimated 1/4 times be?
MY CAR
2006 Cobalt SS N/A (Stock) lol

it woud have the same effect as the temperature dropping 5 to 10 degrees which is why your later runs were better than your first plus the tires were stickier from the later runs because they had been heated up. if you really want cold air and you want to knock off half a second in between a CAI and the engine air intake, put a box where you can put chunks of dry ice that will give the same effect as an intercooler does to a turbocharger
