Welcome Dave...............good to have you join in. Good numbers you posted. Is that 4 door sedan an ION or Cobalt? I'll be back at Firebird in Janurary as soon as they post a schedule I'll have a date. They never got a full
schedule posted in 2006 that listed what saturday nights they would be open. So if I can get an answer when I call them I may be making a few more runs before the new year.

In response to the questions. . . Don't have any other mods planned yet. I'm looking for a tuning option, but I don't want to flash a tune onto my computer and not be able to change it back myself if I had to take my car back to the dealer. I'm thinking about either going with a mini afc 2.2, or apexi s-afc(piggy back fuel controllers), or hp tuners(so I can change it back myself) and finding a local shop that can tune it for me. I wish that superchips or diablosport made hand helds programmers for our cars. With them both being in Florida I would get my car over to them to test if they were interested in making one. I've contacted them but they don't have anything and are not looking to make anything anytime soon. Maybe if more people contacted them they would hook us up. I'm also thinking about drag radials to help launch. But like I said dont' really have anything planned yet. I'm just trying to make sure that I don't do anything that is hard to change back if I ever have warranty issues.
I voided my warranty on my old car. It was a 2003 neon. I spent about 3 grand on that car(intake, catback, headers, downpipe, underdrive pulley, 60mm throttle body, comp cams camshaft, adjustable cam gear with timing 4 degrees advanced, venom 400 module, jet chips tuned pcm which was a piece of ****, shift kit, hi stall torque converter, fuzion tires, 8.5 mm ignition wires, ngk iridium plugs). With all that money spent the fastest time I ever ran was a 17.39(sohc neons are pieces of ****, love my new car). Then I blew my engine, I replaced engine. Then the transmission died. So I don't want to go through that again.
Oh and by the way I own a cobalt, not an ion. Yeah I'd like to meet up with some other 2.4's. I go to the track pretty often. I'll try to keep up on when you guys are meeting.

on getting some better et's....he has MAJOR track experience. he had a 9 second turbo trans am before this car, so uhhh i think he may be able to teach ya a few things LOL.
why is it worthless, and if your in arizona, you have to do a alttitude adjustment, so that 15.9 is actually around a 15.5 or so, do some research or how to calculate, plus isnt the cobalts lighter than ions? im not sure, also the SS 2.4 cobalt has lower and closer gearing than the saturn's ion 2.4 combo
