Base LS Times
Base LS Times
I went up to milan today with some guys and got a couple runs in. It was my first time ever running so my reation times need alot of work. My car has no mods except for a DC Sport Strut Bar. My first run i staged all the way up to the line. Here are the numbers. I dont have a scanner to scan the slips so ill just post what the numbers are.

decent times for your first time
dont worry about reaction time, it doesnt affect your time AT ALL
you should work on the launch, you can tell bu the 60 foot. 2.2 is what you should shoot for. If you lower your tire pressure, it'll help
the fastest stock base coupe time is 15.6

trick to getting a good reaction is go one the 3rd yellow light it take that much time for you brain and body to react

hmm an auto im not sure about i got a stick it took me a while to figure out how to launch that but what ive learned is start out like you would normal driving then ease into it im sure its way diff in an auto also are you putting it in 1 and shifting your self??
and for an auto im sure those are good times a stick will always be quicker unless you drive a super car

If you have an auto and are getting bogged down or t/c lights when launching, then it may help to drop the stick into the lower gear, as that should disable the t/c. A little bit of spin will probably help you off the line quicker, then as soon as you've got traction, bump it back to D.
