Best 'tune' setup for the 1/8th mile. Tuners step in

Okay, so I just looked thru all my time slips probably 100 from the last 2 years... Right now I'm making 350 whp and I'm curious as to what experienced drag racers had their 1st gear power set to in hpt or trifecta... (rpm vs gear) table

While looking thru the slips with tf tune and dp I pulled an 8.2 1/8 mile ... Now I'm making much more power and pull 8.7 everytime (all street tires)

So here's the question , what do you all have your 1st gear set to? And or what does trifecta use As the values for (rpm vs gear) also include 2nd..
Thanks

I experimented a little with the power reduction in 1st and 2nd gears. Personally, I am not putting as much power down as you but I found that around 65% all the way through 1st helped quite a bit and then ramp 2nd from 3000rpm at 75% and go up by 5% per RPM cell. Your best bet is to upgrade tires to a DR. 1/8 mile is all about the launch and the 1-2 shift. I DO NOT NLS 1st to 2nd.

Limiting the power per gear VS rpm has been know to cause bogging as well if reduced too much.

Hmm I wonder if that could be a reason cuz no matter my launch in first I always bog... From idle all te way to 4000 it bogs somewhere in first... Anybody else? Anyone know what trifecta uses as their values...

For pure track start ure 1k rpm basis at 55% and ramp it to 85% by 6k. So when you launch your tq per rpm per gear is set to what your wanting . It's mainly based off your standing rev.
