ok my bro has a 01 mustang gt bullit and i was wondering how i would do im stock except for airbox removal and some 555 nittos i know for a fact when he bearly got the car he ran 14.5 almost 15s 1/4 mile but with second always messing up now he has a stage 2 or 3 clutch.short shifter and some 17x11 or 10.5 in the back with some bfgoodrich street tires also has the shaker hood workin as it should so kinda helps.. car looks fing mean except for the unpainted front bumper..
also he wont floor the hell out of it from a stop he will get on it dont get me wrong but not the way i know he can
i know i wont beat him but will i keep up?how bad will i lose
also he dynod hes car and he has 212hp to the ground lol he is running very leanfor got the tq and at what rpms.. i will post pics later of the bullit not of my ss/sc since its fing ugly atm unpainted front bumper,fender,hood was my project car but left stock for some reason i bought it crashed and was my hobby and pain in my ass for 6 months

a stock bullitt only putting down 212? that seems extremely low. if thats really the case you should win hands down, but since i dont think it is, you will definately keep up. gts arent the fastest cars stock..

212WHP on a 01 Bullit? Yeah that does seem a little low actually.
My SS/SC is completely stock and even I can run with last gen Mustang GT's from a dig...

Also a car makes more power when its lean not less. With the mods he has (or lack of mods he has) I can't imagine that car running lean.
Bullitts made a whoping 5-10hp more than the stock GTs. Stock GTs make anywher from 210-230rwhp so its right in line with what it should be making.

not as far as the dyno guy said...he said it should b way more but because he leans out at high rpms thats all it gave also said that hes injectors were dirty... but when i drive it it feels way stronger than the cobalt but its prolly just me used to v8s i know my old car would own him i had a 98 trans am cammed out and tuned by hpe never raced him though we were to lazy to go to the track at baytown..

212rwhp for a stock 01 bullit is actually normal, they only make like 10 more hp than the regular 99-04 GT mustang which is 260hp to the flywheel take off 12% loss and they dyno around 200rwhp-225rwhp.
