Cobalt sc stage 2 vs 08 civic si
My buddy of mine wants to race my cobalt sc stage 2 with long tube header, and cai. He has no doubt in his mind he is going to beat me. Any thoughts on this? He only has a cai, and skunk2 cat back. Stock for stock the SC is faster so any reason why he is so confident in him winning? Lol

I'm not bias either but this forum/group is full of fanboys. WOW!
Yes, My Civic is slow and I don't care that it's slow. Parts are cheap, it's pretty dang reliable, and it's fantastic on fuel. Guess I'm that partial percent that doesn't think the car is fast.

i wouldn't get so butt hurt over what mr bill said, there are fast civics with lots of work and time put into them. most civic you see on the road are ratbagged piles of crap pushing 100-150whp on a good day by some kid looking to race anything on four wheels. that's my humble opinion so take it with a grain of salt.

There was a guy with a 2008 Si I was talking to yesterday and he honestly believed with just a cat back he could take a stock 2013 WRX, I just didn't argue but made jokes about it later in the night, such as them actually racing. The other guy I was with agreed he didn't know what he was talking about.

I had the dealer slap on some new tires so it's as good as it gets! Hahaha plus I'll be running 94 octane. Best I've seen out here in Winnipeg. Usually premium is 91
