Cobalt SS GM Stage 2 (Added Injen Today)

So i added my injen intake this morning cause i knew i would be heading to the track tonight. Definately noticed a difference during the day and was looking forward to hitting the track tonight. Last time i went i was running a average of 13.9 to 14.2 and was just under 100mph.

Ran a 13.9 all night and could not get out of it. Finally it started to get a little colder and my last run was the best.
Car is just a GM Stage 2 with a Injen Intake.
R/T .459
60' 2.096
330 5.825
1/8 8.856
MPH 80.56
1000 11.477
1/4 13.677
MPH 102.81

Looking forward to getting my exhaust and header next.

For stage 2 only it's not that bad. 3-4mph faster than a stock SC still on a big pulley, conservative tune, no exhaust, etc

I hold my rpm at 2k to about 2 1/2k. Green light hits and i let go of my clutch and my tires stick. Not to much more to it than that for me. Tried to launch at 3k as well but was getting way to much tire spin. Actually did have one 14.0 run due to launching at 3k.

My tire pressure is 20 to 22psi on the front and stock tire pressure in the back.

Talked to a friend that was drag racing front wheel drive cars for 10 years. He actually recommended running out of the grove. So gonna try that next time i go. Usually try and go twice a month.

Header and exhaust is next so looking for low 13 to high 12 next time. Not sure if thats possible with my mods but car definately seems to respond well.

Other than that not doing anything special.

Yeah i must say i think low 13 is possible with my header exhaust and my tune.

Was still running in 70 degree weather last night when i posted the 13.6. With a header exhaust and a tune i must say i think the car will get lower, how low i have no idea only time will tell. But i must say 12's is a little far fetched but i can always pray.

Here is the 13.6 run:
