Alright so after hangin out with D Money all night I've decided that I might have to give it one more try. I'd like to think my damn 2.4 can take down a couple of bolt on 2.2's. I don't mean that in an offensive way at all. My buddy's car is real nice and I totally respect it. Everything goes. Rippin everything I can out. Dave you think Chris will let me borrow his radial's for a night? I need to give it a shot here. Mid to low 14's would be nice and kinda what I'd be shooting for. Let's see how it goes.

Mids on street tires I know is possible. On the radials I'm thinking lower 14's. Not like me and you are on the same list anyway. O and if you wanna go fast losing the big wing may be a good option to look into. kthxbye

getting rid of the spoiler wont do **** for my time

it doesnt weight enough (in comparison to the low pro) to make a diff and doesnt cause enough drag at the speeds going....

and we are not on the same list no, but i would start a bet that youll go slower then you think...esp if you think just cause your a 2.4 and im a 2.2 your automatically faster...

I know RedSSNA's car will do 14.5's on street tires all day with a good launch. On radials it should go low 14's.

Well I'm talking about it from a drag perspective and they really do make a difference. Not sure how you think you're not going fast enough to notice a difference in drag at over 90 but thats you're think. My car is wingless and Dmoney has the low pro on his. Plus I definitely don't think just because I have a 2.4 I'm automatically faster. I'm not stupid enough to make those assumptions because I know it's not a guarantee. We'll just have to wait and see how it goes.

good outta stuff man i'm glad it works as well as you hoped i'd say it was a good gain lol that rev limiter probably helps out slow esp with the 2.4 manifold

I am going to have to buy some parts and stop letting all these 2.2s have the fun here. I am looking at getting wheels/tire, and full exhaust in the up coming weeks. and maybe get a A/F gauge and tuning software (depending on where I am at) but that 14.5 wont last long if I can help it.

getting rid of the spoiler wont do **** for my time this wing weight a ton.

air resistance + wing =

everything is air resistance on my car is removed:

mirs, antenna, high rise wing = work body (WB)
next step on my WB is to cut rectangular hole in my door panel(polymere) and put alu sheet in. hoping saving ˝ weight. a other tactique in my hat to get 13'

you can not do it with your door

I will only get DRs if I ever come to that point, I am getting new tires here shortly so we will see how that fairs in 1/4 mile times. I have a great track here so I don't really need DRs to get a good launch. But I am looking into full exhaust (vibrant header/downpipe, and Ark DT-S) and maybe the RKsport hood to help the intake side of things. Then if I am still not where I want to be then I will get a A/F gauge and tuning software and get uberclose to 13s

what is your 60'

according to my

1.trifecta
2.WR
3.DR
4.exhaust

you need restriction in a exhaust. your setup (7up) vibrant with a 2ž should be best 7up

PS: 7up in french, set and 7 sound the same, why 7up.

my 14.87 run was, all i had on that run was my K&N intake suspension and weight reduction.

60' ~ 2.262
330 ~ 6.285
1/8 ~ 9.594
MPH ~ 74.33
1000 ~ 12.467
1/4 ~ 14.871
MPH ~ 93.26

so with full exhaust I should be gaining maybe 2-4 tenths hopefully. the 08s have to cats on the downpipe verses the one on 05-07 so I should get more of a gain them most. But the more I look around I am thinking I will get Virbrant H/DP and Ark DT-S cat-back. I will also have wheels and tires next time I head to the track. so give me say two weeks and I will be ready to play.

That's almost the same exhaust setup as me other than the fact that I have the N2 cat-back.
