Drag Radials on SS/TC
Drag Radials on SS/TC
I know there was some confusion awhile back as to what size DR's would fit on the SS/TC because of the Brembos. Just so I know, we can put a MT DR in 17" form on our cars for the track? And if that is correct what is the tire size again, thanks!!
you have to make sure whatever 17" wheel you get will clear the brembos. I know the ss/na 17" wheels fit. So you could use those.
More than likely use the ET street radial 2
tire size would be 205/40/17 which would help your gearing out since it's only 24" in diameter.

or you could use 315/35/17 which would slightly hurt your gearing since it's 26" in diamter.

ET street radial is only 1 size. 275/40/17, 26" tall. Not best for gearing either.

Either way, you need to be careful. These tires aren't meant for hard launches. They are street tires with softer tread. So it is intended to be launched in the same manner that you launch on your stock tires, only they grip better resulting in better 60ft.s
If you want a true slick, granted it's a cheater slick but it still sticks, you could go with the 26"x11.5" wide ET street.

Then you could actually launch hard. really hard. But obviously, these aren't for the street.
