Would expect a 13.5 or a little lower. Depends on that 60ft time.

Yea with a good launch and perfect shifts. average driver in a stock lsj will run about 14.6/14.7 @ 96 - 98 mph. A GOOD driver can get a 14.4 @ 98/99 mph. And most 2.7 (M62) guys are NOT trapping at 105 -108. I am trapping at 107 with a TVS.

Factory freak with a good driver then maybe. But that is NOT the average. Well 2.7 acutally I'm not sure BUT the Average 2.8 SS with average driver I would expect 14.0 MAYBE 13.9 @ 100 or 101. It really depends on the extent of the extra mods. Slicks with meth or something will get better #'s than I am saying, but I would not consider an SS with slicks and meth to be "average."
2.8, 60's, bigger HE, and a canned tune would be what I consider kinda average. This will get you about 14.0/13.9 @ 100-101

R/T= .293
60' = 2.381
330 = 6.145
1/8 = 9.217
MPH = 79.58
1000 = 11.881

1/4 = 14.173
MPH = 97.84

So almost exactly what I was expecting. Practice the launch and you'll get those #'s a little lower

its alright. same day i ran the 14.2 i had ran a 15.6 my first pass. you just gotta remember what you did on the last run and improve on it. not just go up and make a pass and hope for the best.

don't slip the clutch. the sooner you can get it engaged the sooner you can go wide open. don't give it as much gas. and let the clutch out faster. when i was driving on the stock clutch i would launch at 3k and be wide open clutch fully engaged by 4250

also what people don't realize is that if you're going for low ET, stage shallow not deep. barely creep forward till you see the stage bulb flickering on and then stop. r/t will more than likely suck dick, but you will be moving forward and beginning to accelerate before you trip the timer

because in the class me and a buddy do once a year, people normally pay for these tips. then we take them out on the track for a day of racing.

theres 4 things you don't ever see in bracket racing; 4cylinders, fwd's, manuals, and turbos. i have a car that i compete with that has all four of those, and i still win..
