15's WILL fit if you grind down your brake caliper. It's up to you if that is worth it though.

you'll have to search. I went with 16's cause I decided against grinding.

axles snap because of wheel hop. The harder the tire, the easier and more likely you are to wheel hop. Street tires are the worst, drag radials wheel hop if you don't launch right, and slicks don't wheel hop at all if you aren't an idiot. The widest you can fit without having to grind anything whatsoever is 9.5" wide slicks. if you go to a 10.5" like me, you'll have to grind on the suspension mount. The key is to get a SOFT compound with a decent amount of sidewall and a wide contact patch. 16" rims with a tire no taller than 26" tall and 9.5" wide is your best bet.

I understand that, I'm just saying that is the most common. If you have slicks, and you aren't beating the **** out of your car, as in you go to the track, get decent 60ft.s and run good times, then you'll be fine. but if you are ***** to the wall dumping the clutch at rediculously high rpms, then you may break an axle even on slicks.

I'll be due to break one, I know. But I've only launched real hard on my slicks like 3 times. Every other time I've only launched at like 3K rpms or below.
