finally went to the track

Went to palm beach international finally after being tuned for probably close to a year ended up getting 4 runs in
The track prep was bad this night, would chirp shifting to second, then would spin once the turbo spooled up,no one was getting the greatest traction even the skyline guys were complaing they could only cut a 1.8 60 instead of 1.5

A little disappointed but a driver mod would help.

First run was a 13.8 at 107.3 with a 2.2 60 missed 3rd ...solo run
this run i shifted into 4th other 3 runs stayed in 3rd.

next run was a 13.7 at 106.4 with a 2.33 60 against a speed3 new one 15.4 at 94 with i/e/t

next run was 13.7 at 107.7 with a 2.3 60 against a turbo 240 14.7 at 107

last run 13.7 at 107.8 with a 2.3 60 against a tundra 13.4 at 105

The car has terms 24psi tune, zzp dp, zzp intake tube, treadstone tr8 intercooler, injen hotside pipe, K/N drop in filter.

Tires are nitto neogens at 26 psi

launch was around 2-3k

Any suggestions?

Yeah the 60 foot time is killing you. Should be able to pick up almost another .3-.4... Another set of mount options are:

NEW! Turbo Tech Racing STOP Transmission Mounts Chevrolet Cobalt 2005-10 (F35 Trans) ON-SALE! - Turbo Tech Racing, LLC
Turbo Tech Racing Solid Upper Engine Mount Chevy Cobalt/Redline/HHR 2.0/2.2/2.4L Manual Trans - Turbo Tech Racing, LLC

im getting the similar tune to you, and cant wait for the track on it. tires and mounts are always what helps out fron drive cars with good pwer.
trap speed is pretty good, im sure with better driving and mounts, 12.9-13.2 is in your future...gl

Those tundra's run 14's stock, it was probably lightly modded if anything. 104 trap isn't much, he was getting off the line nicely. I was running 13.5's at 104ish with the Z with a 2.0 60 foot, at stock power. Those tundras have a lot of gear, a nice 6 speed auto, and 370ish hp stock.

Even with a 2.2 60' your mph with those mods should be 110 or so.Are you powershifting?(NLS) for you youngsters.Trifecta tune only I drove my dad's Cobalt 13.2 @ 107 with a 2.18 60'.My car same day with DP and intake wnt 12.9@111.You should be where I was at.

Florida air is humid and nasty, believe me, i know cause i live here..lol
gl and reach for that 12.9

BTW, what rpms are you shifting at and what gear are you ending in?
I launch @ 2500, then I shift 1-2 @ 5800, then 2-3 @ 6k, then 3-4 @ 6200, ending in 4th obviously, and about 75ft before finish.

You should raise the rev limit and carry 3rd through the traps, will get you quicker. Kills you to shift right before the line.

Yeah, time spent shifting is time not putting down power. Better to go a couple hundred rpms past the peak than have to stop sending power to the wheels.
