Hey everyone. My name is Lars and i wanted to introduce myself to the forum.

Just got a Cobalt SS/SC 2006 and took it to Englishtown and raced it.

Ran a 14.1 with no powershifting and just a stage 2 with no CAI or exhaust work done.
Had 2.030 60ft time as well. Ran avout 22 psi on the tires and did the best i could.

welcome to the site. good job on the 60'. sounds like you had some clutch slip though. thats too bad, i bet that run woulda been nice.

I must say i was really expecting to get into the 13's with a stage 2.

 

a 2.0 60' will get you into the 13s. but it did sound like you had a good amount of clutch slip, and then it seems like you shifted way too early into 3rd. also...shift faster. hahah.

Who does that when there only running mid 13-14's? Good to be safe I guess but still haha

its called IHRA and NHRA rules of an sn2005 or up rated helmet must be worn when going 13.99 or faster.

In warm and humid weather, it's going to be tough getting into the 13s. I did last summer once when it was 82 with a dewpoint of 62 degrees. Go again when it's 50ish.

 

Actually heading back again this friday to see if i can improve. Gonna get the HP Tuners Suite and get tuned by trifecta for stage 3. On the 16th And then next month i will do CAI and Header Exhaust combo.

 

Well improved a little this week. Got a 14.086, I mean seriously that far away from reaching what i was expecting.

he was joking, i get all kinds of **** cause i race in a bracket class where i'm the only 4cyl, and only fwd as well. and its an 11sec civic.
