Learn how to STAGE!

anyways, id probably feather the clutch out around 2500 instead of about 3-3500. and it sounds like the 2-3 shift was a little off.

what are you running for tires, and what are your mods?

my best in my 2.4 is 14.9 @94.2

almost sounded like you tried to powershift or no-lift-shift into 3rd? The key is practice. Lower the pressures up front like stated, go from a lower rpm and feather the throttle/clutch until you feel traction.

My buddy has a WOT box, and honestly, its more nuisance than anything. It doesnt provide the LSJ any gains IMO?\... Its "launch control" just holds RPM and dumps the clutch, it doesnt actually use traction control...since we dont have that. And theres no point in NLS on an LSJ. Just my 2 cents.

i wouldn't go too low, i like 26-28psi up front . and run 50 in the back.

^ and i agree with Erick, NLS in an LSJ isnt needed.

With some more practice you'll do better, and at least you did it on the track and not the street.

yes they are a LITTLE wobbly around the 1000ft mark but it is not bad I have traped 116.2 with street tires.

My slicks wobbly a LOT more.

In drag racing the first 60ft is almost the whole race so yea a better 60ft with a slower ET is mostly faster then a shitty 60ft and a good ET

you got me there, i was just going to say it benifits a turbo lsj. but it really does make a great difference for a turbo car when you no lift shift. it really can cut about half a second off your 1/4 mile time because you dont have to wait for the turbo to spool again after you shift.

on a blown lsj yes it is really pointless, but the launch control does help alittle

its not true launch control unless it uses traction control...thats really the point of launch control. So, because LSJs dont have that, IMO, its rather pointless.

IIRC, isnt it just in the ECU? (the traction control function).

Yeah, turbo car, completely see the benefit.
