First time at the track....
First time at the track....
I went to the palm beach international raceway yesterday, formaly known as moroso.... i did pretty bad..... it was my first time..... things to note.... io didnt even let my car cool down, i goth there and ran it.... iat2 where at about 150 while staging..... i have to post up the time slip but ill just write down wut i remenber for now....

mph: 101.62
i knew i wasnt gonna do good since it was my first time at that track, but i thought i mighta pulled a 13.8-13.9.... on that run, i ran a mustang that did a 13.3 and his trap was 103.2 or something.... so i should def be in the 13s..... and im almost ashamed to say this...... i was on DR's on about 20 PSI.... but i do have a 1 tire frier.... and i did break em loose 2 times.... i only got in 3 runs.....

R/T was terrible like a 1.2 sec lol.
1/4 was 14.5, however i also had my two 12's and my 10" sub in my trunk with the amps and everything lol. My best 60ft was a 2.0 but i messed up shifting into 2nd
so i screwed the whole thing up. Oh well the hi flow cat and boost tubing will be goin in along with a tune by like nxt month july at the very latest so im sure that will over come the extra weight in my trunk lol. It would be nice to beet people and say i beet you and i still have extra weight in my trunk lol.

Haha that's not bad. My goal is to beat 18 seconds my first time. I'm not going to launch my car, but do a normal start instead. After several runs I want to be under 15 seconds, not sure if I can get in the 14s though without "launching" the car. Launching scares me, I don't want to burn up the clutch and I have to drive my car home from the track!
