I'm not sure what year cobalt you have. If you have a ss/sc rev to 2k and roll out of the clutch easily but don't ride it. Get that 60ft down to 2.1 and you'll be kissing the 13's. If you have a ss/tc maybe one of those guys can give launch tips.

I have a 2010 with just a muffler delete.

OK then maybe one of the other guys can give launch pointers. You should be able to get well into the 13's with a ss/tc so definitely take advantage of no lift shift. The thing with drag racing is practice practice practice. It's not easy by any means.
