First time at the track with the balt.

I had a great time but they were not giving times or slips out so I have no idea what I ran (it was like street racing with a flagger but at the track). Me and Boostn07 from here went to US 41 with a bunch of our friends! My last run of the night was my best, I ran my friends 99 cobra with CAI,Short throw, and exhaust, I finished side by side with him. As we turned off the track he says "DAMN that little 4 banger runs good!" Me and ben (boostn07) ran twice against one another and the first time I jumped early and won, the second time was a pretty good run but he took me off the line and held his lead all the way down the track. We have the same mods with him also having a hurst short throw shifter. Overall I am happy with my car I believe it would have ran a mid 14 today, it was HOT! mid 90's on the track.

Mike

We are lucky we even got to run. Someone broke into the track and stole all of the qeuipment. They broke the tree, stole the ET printer, trashed everything. Thats why we didnt get times, and had a flagger. It was pretty fun actually!!

The track is pretty good, and is known as one of the faster tracks around here.

I miss that track. A year or so ago it was a great track.

Then you have the wife fighting over who gets to keep it and it went to **** I'm told. The MWRLA (Midwest RedLine Assoc) went there quite often in the day. I used to hang with CSC a lot as well and they still go there.

does it still count as a track when you have no tree, no slips, no professional staff, and no insurance? lol

sounds like street racing, but not on the street.

I live in IL but the track in is IN, some people are just morons.

Street racing is on the street lol, this was on a track . Just joken with ya, it was just like street racing, but there was no risk to anyone. The only risk was to yourself, just like at any other drag strip.

its all good man.
Its better than the street i agree.

though at my track there are 10+ trained officials, paramedics, full floodlighting, fully walled track from start to the returnlane, track prep equipment, with monitors on the track watching for spills/parts....
as well as a 5 million dollar liability insurance.

Yea some kids around here are just low life's. But I think breaking into the track was a family issue that was taken way to far. I think the owners/family were fighting over the complete ownership of the track or something. I dont really understand lol. But yes, it was very easy to line up with who ever you wanted. Everytime I raced, it was against exactly who I wanted.
