god damn i got the car to hook today....look at the sweet trap speeds too. i was launching around 3500 and slipping it all the way through 1st.

So where are all the haters that say i won't keep up with a stage 2 cobalt. i think a stage 2 cobalt might have a hard time keeping up with me

you know whats ugly, all the stage 2 guys talking ****, when i pm to race as they requested they dont pm me back, when i pm them about freinds track days they dont pm me back, but when i post, they just say a stage 2 will rape me and that im an idiot. Wow, I was about to tell you good job and nice looking MS3 before I read UNDER your picture. Dude, get off your pedestal. Roll racing and racing from a dig is different. You can't come to a forum that is based on a certain car and say your car is so much better than a certain car. Evidently it bothers you, as you have something to prove to those stage 2 guys. Dude, nice MS3, those are excellent times. I wanted my friend to get one but he was kind of hating on it because he said it reminded him of a wagon. I REALLY like those cars in black and red, but I wished they came in more colors. A nice deep blue would be nice..and mmm white would be EXCELLENT. That silver looks good on your MS3. Tint her, lower her, get some rims. I saw a relaly nice regular wagon mazda 3 with a CF hood, white, and bronze/gold rims. Looked sick, and the opening aftermarket for your car, man those things are pwnage! Horsepower sells cars, torque wins races. Nice times man.

 

Your car is pretty quick, I'll give ya that. Shame I have more then Stg2, otherwise I would have run ya for the hell of it.

By the way, a good driver in a Stg2 against you should be a good race. With wheel hop issues taking away, a stock Cobalt is well worthy of a high 13, throwing GM stg2 should get us right around where you are. Like I said though, a "Good" driver, and fixing the wheel hop issues.

 

Red attracts to much attention, black is bitch to clean, the blue they offer is gay, so i went with silver. Canada offers white....bastards lol. just look at the best trap speed, over 104mph, thats the average of bolted stage 2 cobalts, so i still understand why i would get killed by one, but ok whatever, its not like anybody will actaully race me. They just talk **** and ignore actualy facts

i hop like a bunny all theway through 2nd, oddly first i just spin or hook, or a combo of both. the 2.05 was not even a chirp, the 2.15 was flat out spinnage in 1st, and i still managed a 2.15 wierd

Dude, go about it a different way, of course people will be turned off by what seems to be arrogance. Understand that racing from a roll and a dig are quite different man. From a roll cobalts do better than a few cars, as would yours. Your MS3 has torque out of its ass though. I really tried toconvince my friend to get it..saying it was a roomy, sporty vehicle with room for college stuff.

Get a CF hood and lowe rhe. she will look sexy. And are you looking for JUST a stage 2 cobalt, or a stage 2 cobalt with an intake and a gutted cat as well? And also, there are people from other states that would race you, I mean, you ARE only on one side of the US. There are just stage 2 ss/sc's out there that would be glad to race you.

 

btw she looks high because that in the middle of launch of a 2.05 60. the car doesnt stand like that. however i have enkei evo 5s and cobb springs in the mail.

i dont know if u missed the other posts but the ms3 vs cobalt posts went CRAZY. i ended up racing a stock one a beat him always starting in one gear higher. Then the stage ii guys started talkign **** and we were suppose to me up and have a friendly race. i pmed them, made new threads and NOTHING. So i guess they either dont care, are full of ****, or scured lol

I've not seen 1 of those where I live. They are definalty faster than I gave them credit for. Never been a big fan of the 3's though, no offense.

There are a couple boneheads that drive Cobeys out in Jersey. I know of a couple **** talkers out my way as well. Just because you came across a couple bad eggs doesn't mean that we are all bad. Not to mention, that doesn't mean you have to stoop to their level.

his 1/8 was 81.60
his 1/4 was 102.88
picking up a total of 21.22mph in the back half

my slowest of the 3 was
1/8 81.63
1/4 103.16
picking up a total of 21.53

my fastest of the 3 was
1/8 81.98
1/4 104.47
Total 22.49

i am picking up more speed in the back half, btw im in 5th gear already and take it to around 122 the cobalt is peaking in 3rd and needs to shift out. Do we still think a cobalt is a better highway car? i understand this is just comparing it to one cobalt, but its just solid proof

Well its not SOLID proof. But its one cobalt. And the speeds aren't that far off. Though every 1 mph counts. Also....dude...you have a turbo, the cobalts have an SC. Of course you have more top end.

 

people have a hard time understanding that. Some do not know how a ms3 works, in each gear i build more and more boost. in 5th gear i make more boost then in 4th, in 6th i make more than in 5th. pretty much the higher the gear for me and thigher the speeds the better off i am.

i made a video last night, im sure no1 cars to see it but
1st gear 9psi spike goes down to 5 at 6k
2nd gear 15 spike holds 14 goes down to 12 at 6k
3rd gear 17 spike hold 15 goes down to 14 towards 6k
4th gear 18 spike holds 15-16 goes down to 14 towards 6k
5th gear spikes to 20 holds 15-16 down to 14 towards 6k
6th gear spikes to 20 holds 16, never took 6th towards 6k so i wouldnt know

 

you seem to think your car is so damn fast and you turn down a race to a cobalt that doesn't even have stg2

 

where did i claim to be so fast, and when did i turn down a race? im not racing anyboyd outside of nj, nor am i driving 2 hours just to meets some1. i raced a stock one that was near me and beat it. The two Stages 2s that wanted to go are 2 hours away. me and the guy said we would meet each other halfway. i pmed him asking him whens good for him, i pmed him about track days and never got anythign in return. if you look at in ure drag section i made 2 new threads about THREE differnt track days, no1 showed up. How is that my fault. Btw the three differnt locations were central jersey, south jersey and fucken maryland. im not going further than that
