like title says. my first pass today was my 3rd pass behind the wheel down the 1/4. first two were in a stock 5spd cav. i was gonna go to dragway 42 but it closed due to rain so i went to quaker. car hooked ALOT better than i thought. very lil spin and zero hop. car is a ss/sc 100% stock minus CAI

Do u know what the elevation of your track is? Pretty good times for your first time at the track

 

not bad for your trap speed and first time ever in that car.

 

man i havent a clue what the elavation is. any websites or somthing that tells you elavation of a city? yeah i bought that car in november, and i drove it from the lot to the storage unit a keep it in. it hasnt left that garage since today except for a couple "nice days". so its easy to see why i was unconsistant. plus it was quite windy, and had at least one passanger every pass. the track also goes uphill BEFORE the traps. not making excuses but theres still some left in the car once i get to a flat track with no wind. should be fun. thing that killed me the most was not being used to the dive by wire. i had a hard time keeping the rpms steady at the line lol

I was going to go to Quaker today but the website and the message machine at the track said it was closed so i was going to go tomorrow if i can make it I see it wasn't busy by the amount of runs u got in there is times i went there and only got 3-4 runs max I should be going tomorrow

 

^^^^ pick the right lane as much as you can. it was hooking alot better than the left. people were almost always lined up in the right lane with nobody in the left all night. my best 60' in the right lane was 2 tenths better than i could do in the left. and i was launching at 2500-3000 with a bit of slip. worked pretty good for me. good luck
