First time at the track tonight...
and I sucked major *****.
Best 60' was 2.313 which was the first run actually but the clutch was slipping all the way through first, then i missed 3rd gear. :\ Ended up running 15.037 @99.55mph. Probably would have been my best run if I wouldn't have missed 3rd.
2nd run I tried launching a little lower, but it ended up bogging. 60' was 2.519 (horrid) and 1/4 was 14.662 @ 99.6mph.
Last run, launch was bad again. Hopped half of the way through first, 60' @ 2.474. 1/4 was 14.721 @ 102.34.
I put new plugs in the car yesterday, had them gapped at .040 initially, but moved the gap down to .035 before the track, but the car just didn't seem to like it. I am going to move the gap down a little lower and see how that works. I also noticed that after the first run I was coming up with 2 new codes that I hadn't seen. P0300 and P0171, so I need to look into those.
Also, lol, on the way home i noticed my boost gauge was at 0 all the way (i have a mechanical gauge), so I'm not sure when the connection under the hood came undone, but that meant I had a leak so who knows if that played a roll either.
The IAT2s were really high before each run, I'm guessing because of the polished blower. I need to get my H/E in and get the meth kit ordered to get them down. They were around 145-155 before each pull. I'm sure that didn't help either.
Anyways, it was my first trip in the Cobalt, I was hoping for better but at least I know where I'm at.

the first time I ever went to the track, I started the race in reverse.... I over shot the staging lights so I went to back up and the damn light turned green... ran like 17 something... now I run 14.3 at 104mph with a slow launch and 60'.
