Well I Beat a Stock SS/SC

Well i beat one But we BOTH ran horrible times. Track was not prepped at all and combine that with both of our negitive drive mod yielded a 15.2 @ 98mph and fastssinnh got a 16.2 @ 97mph we both got 2.8 60's. His next run was 15.6 @ 98mph. For the life of me i coulnd not get traction in 1st or second. I def need to practice hardcore launching with this new power because all i get is massive wheelspin and mad hop. Tranny mounts did nothing... I Know my setup is good for mid-low 14's i just need to learn how to launch...again... I have a video ill post later.

aren't summer tires usually pretty sticky? at least sticker than winter tires? Get something, please. That's embarrasing quarter times.

Dam that sucks they didn't prep the track. I was at cecil county with my wife. She ran 15.46@91 and I went 15.01@92 with a 1.24 60'. Its a bone stock sport 5spd. Cecil is almost always prepped well. I'm sure ur car is way harder to drive with all that power. I cant wait to have that kind of power. Good luck in the future and if you want to race at a good track take a day trip to cecil spend the night at the holiday express next door then go home in the morning. They also have test and tunes on select saturdays for 35.bucks you get to race from 10-4 youl get as many runs as the car can handle.

Yes they are but the track was not prepped at all but thats what you get for streetnight For the SS/SC yes but it was also his very first past ever in that car. I dont find mine "embarressing" but it is disappointing. I am jsut not use to launching with a turbo and my spec stage 2 clutch. my clutch releases randomly, one run it was at the top the next its at the floor, you dont know till you go to launch haha.

I need to lean how to launch the car. My 1st launch was TERRIBLE. My 2nd was better but i know that car has mid to low 14s in it. It probably didnt help that it was kinda cold last night and my dumb ass just put air in the tires a few hours before (35psi) Ill do better I promise

No you didn't. You did NOT cut a 1.24 60ft. Cuz if you did, you would have ran a 13sec quarter mile with only a 92mph trap speed. You would have rocketed out of the hole like a Top fuel dragster. Sorry bud, but you DID NOT cut a 1.24 60ft.

Up where I run at (beaver springs) posted they ran a 13.6 on stage 2, airbox mod, and ingalls. Thats it. Nothing else, period. He claimed he pulled a 1.6 60'. He posted up what the times "were" but no actual pic of the slip. I told him there is no way in hell he pulled a 1.6 60', period. Not gonna happen.

Yea, that didn't happen either. The fastest recorded 60ft. time is 1.7 on slicks. I am hoping I can do that also. But unfortunately I've only had 1 launch on a track with my slicks. everything else has been on the street.

I need some drag bags, that would help quite a bit.

sorry, I apologize for getting so off topic.

In away, it is though. Better 60ft.s would net you WAY better times.

i could poop a better 60'. haha jk but seriously. what rpm were you launching at? its best to granny it off the line and roll into it. looks like as soon as it went green you both pretty much just mashed it lol. the best traction mod = left & right feet. when you start to wheelhop, ease off the gas!
