DA as in? Elevation? We aren't high up, if anything englishtown is real close to sea level....I got the best results kinda dumping it which gave me the 14.1 run. The 14.5 run a wheel hopped and the 14.6 run i launched off idle and bogged badly.

....see tod you tuning was one of your threats.... tuning can KILL your car and make it the shittiest race car ever..... BTW.. do NOT buy a tuner program if you dont know how to tune or have someone with experience there to teach you... thats another way to destroy your car. pay a shp to tune it and you WILL trap higher unless you are going up a hill lol.

Maf translator = easy for me and probably anyone. Hptuners = huh? lol don't worry. I have an appointment this wed. for a HPTune 60 lbers and 2.6.......the only thing i'm a bit worried about is running on my cracked pulley....well...more of a slice in the pulley and it's kind of bent . It makes noise. However, i'm hoping it will last me 3 more days.

Hey, at least I shaved off a LOT of weight on my car. 2894lbs with me in it and half a tank of gas. Without me = 2769 and half tank

I hear u on the disappointment. That is one of the reasons I sold the SS/SC before I drop to much money into it.....
The GTO with LT's, Catback, Intake and a Tune, I can daydream and run mid high 12's @ 112 on street tires.

Don't give up on the Cobalt so easily- heck I have seen enough GTO guy's running 14's and 15's and acting the same way as you and you don't want to have the same results with one of those. First off I would fix your exhaust leak. A leak between the head and manifold can hurt performance with raw air giving the O2 sensor a false reading- not sure if this would have much of an affect at WOT though. Also it could do some engine damage. Your 60" time seems much better than most at 2.2 so I suspect power is down right off the start(since you are not spinning your way to a 2.6 sixty)- this really makes me think that exhaust leak could be a problem. Also you trap speed is not in the 100's because you have such a good sixty foot time compared to other Cobalts running similiar times.

Ok here' sthe weird thing. On my 14.1 run, I had the 2.2 60 ft and a 99.97 trap. On my 14.5 run, i had a 2.497 60ft and a 99.33 trap. On my 14.6 run lol i had a 2.605 60ft and a 99.74 trap. They were all 99 trap speeds. Consistant, but kind of low for my mods.

whatevver, all i know is that i will be getting a 2.6 this wed with tuning
