nice run on the 2.4. Next time go on the the last yellow and watch your reaction time drop.

Reaction Time is a seperate time from the Elapsed Time, unless of course your bracket racing, then everything is counted....

roger that. I just didnt see a slip posted. Ill search better.

edit: Found his post. I guess its my lack of skill at shifting. Still new to manual, not even a year yet. Maybe he got lucky and got the factory freak also! either way, thats pretty awesome. 14.9.

Keep in mind that reaction time is only going to help you if you're bracket racing. If you are going for quarter mile times, your reaction times don't have any bearing there.

So the trick to the track, is traction. Correct?

I ran with my traction off, 15.6. Wheels spun a little in 2nd.. nothing bad though.
Traction on. 15.8.. wheels didnt spin in 2nd, but it felt like the car wasnt pushing as hard as it could.

I was also shifting at about 5500rpms in 1st and 2nd, then running third all the way through.

Ive got the button in mine. Press it to turn traction control off, hold it in to turn ESC (electronic stability control) off. Just no launch control, or competitive mode.

something new in the '08?
