fun on the 1/8
well i just picked up the new car yest and installed all the parts. i must say this thing is a beast compared to the last one which i could only run a 9.5 and usually ran 9.7-9.8
well any ways here how i ran, slips will be up later but 2k5 SS/SC can vouch for me.
1st run: first time at the track with the new car so was a little nervous and eased it off the line
60'- 2.217
ET - 9.399
@ - 76.876 mph
2nd run had wheel hop and let off running a 9.4xx and 3rd run wheel hop and passenger ran a 9.4xx
4rth run: started to get a feel for the car
60'- 2.207
ET - 9.313
@ - 77.763 mph
5th run: best run of the night (sorry billy... just wait till i have my stage 2 )
60'- 2.114
ET - 9.208
@ - 77.973 mph
the car felt much faster than my old one even just off the lot (factory freak?) and this just goes to prove it, even with letting off the gas i still ran faster than i ever did with my old one.

I'll vouch for those time for sure! He definitely has a factory freak or my car is running like total ****, that's all I have to say. The new car Mike has is so smooth and definitely an animal! Not to mention Mike has some serious driving skills at the track. Congrats again bro!
On a side note, I'd post my times but everyone would laugh. Needless to say it's a little hard to grab 2nd gear when you shift linkage is broken.

for me it felt like i was easing off the line, there was no spin or hop at all. i usually try to launch it so i can just start to feel it break lose but never does. just how i feel im kinda a perfectionist when it comes to **** like that. and no bragging here but have also heard i am a damn good driver by several people now.
