well those numbers helped me out in guesstimating my 1/4 time. good times, i am also running stage 2, with the ingalls though. however i only have a 1000 foot track here, i ran 11.54 in the 1000 so im thinking i would have run about 13.6-13.7 depending on your trap.
dude your car could easily be running 13.5's if you got that 60 foot down, remember these cars make plenty of power, they have a hard time getting it to the ground, invest in traction mods!!!

This is what I learned today. I am stock and My worst start was 2.667 and best was 2.347, unitl I did the following.
Air down tires to 24PSI (experiment with this up or down in the range of 20 to 26LBS).
Burn out super important.
This eliminated wheel hope and I could lauch harder. I needed more practice and experimentation with it but I got 2.2680 on the first try. I could be more agressive with my launch now and possibley do a whole lot better. Possible less than 2.200!?
Hope that helps you. Also consider air baging the rear coils.
My best is a 14.13 so your getting some good times. I am running the 2.8 know and can not wait to go to the track to see if my times will inprove. I also go a new set of BFG's so that should help me 60' times. Looking at your time slip i am not far off since my MPH is 102 but my 1/8 is 9.27 at 79.65.

2.269 my technique - setup - 24PSI in tires, Burn out (street tires). got less wheel hop and great launch. I could go harder two. only had one launch like this but what a difference. Try it an let me know how it works for you.

Hey guys thanks for all the great replys and suggestions.
I have looked at the torque damper and probably will consider getting one in the future. However at the moment money is tight and I'm in the process of buying new tires and possibly wheels. I also want to get my windows tinted and that plastic coating on my hood from 3M that repels rock chips.
I can't make it to the track tomorrow cause of my work schedule but next time I go I think I'll try taking the tires down to 24psi and see what that does. I'll continue to post on here with future passes. Lets see some numbers from others!
*also I have no idea what the elevation of the raceway is but if someone wants to look it's in Norwalk, Ohio.

I beat a newer body style Mustang GT auto trans. It was kinda a funny race cause he was revving at me like he was gunna walk on me. He red lighted as you can see, and I passed after I shifted to second lol.
nice times out of a 4-banger :-P i bet you got bettter gas mileage in that run that he did too haha. I havent looked yet, but if this site has a time slip page then look at a bunch. Look at the best 1/4 times and look at the worst. Look at two things because they are the only two things that really matter on the timeslip. 60ft and trap speed. compare the 60fts of the good times to the 60fts of the bad times. then compare trap speeds. you will see cars with 2.3 60ft and 103 trap speed running a 13.9 or something. then see a 2.0 60ft with the same trap speed running a 13.5......... compare your timeslips the same way. and next time you buy tires, dont buy the 215-45-18 stock wheels. get a 225-45-18 so you have more tire on the ground... also, i dont know what the PSI in the tires is normally, but you should only drop the psi about 4-5 lbs at the track in the front tires and raise the psi about 3 in the rear tires. That will help your time.
