def. gonna put the car on E85 only reason i havent is because with the tester all the E is around 75 right now. And my race gas tune is pretty stout. With E though itll have a higher octane and cooler comb temps

t1racedevelopment.com and yes, about $480 or so.

I just got them in a few minutes ago, actually.

Did you order the other parts needed to run them? IIRC we discussed all that a while back...I think lol

I did... got the clips and pigtails which is a good thing because I tried to fit them to my stock harness and it's a no-go. It's going to still need some splicing to work right.

This is my stock harness, I don't know how they would fit with the EV1.

Good good. Did you get the injector to rail adapters as well?

Ballenger Motorsports ( bmotorsports.com ) is a good source for not only the ID1000s, which are an EV6 connector, but they are a great source for injector adapters, whether just connectors, pigtails or a short adapter harness.

Kenny will like those purple extenders. Lavender is his color.

EV6? So if I get the EV6 harness from, say, ZZP, they should bolt right in? No splicing?

Sure, $550 shipped and they're yours..

and no, I never had 60's, I had 79's though. Those were actually really good injectors. But they came with the EV1 harness, just like the 60's, and the 80's... pretty much any aftermarket LSJ injector. But Benny mentioned the EV6, which I believe is the aftermarket harness that fits the LE5/L61.

Gotcha. So I'm just trying to get a concrete answer, will the EV6 harness connect to the LSJ so that I can just order one for $26 from ZZP, plug-n-play?

I'm glad you could help me with that, thanks. I would rather not splice anything, have it come apart in a year or so, and have a catastrophic engine problem because of it.

Don't be surprised if you have a tough time 60' ing the first day. Opening day will be tough to get good track conditions, unless you happen have a crowd of big hp cars laying down rubber before you make your passes! Either way good luck!
