Got Traction...

Cause I sure as hell don't!!!
I just got back from the track, ET wise it was a disapointing night. My best ET was 14.16 HOWEVER my best trap speed was 107.73!!! The pulls insanly hard, but its impossible to get traction, my best 60' was 2.4! I was still beating everything that lined up in the other lane, i wooped a mustang gt, and different mustang gt, and even a fellow ss s/c which I walked around after he destroyed me off the line. My traction issue is so serious it affecting my speed, I'm forced to short shift first and bog second gear, with a little better traction I don't think 109 trap speed is out of the question! From a dig, lots a stuff could beat me, from a roll, better bring something REALLY fast Heres what my time slip looks like...

60'..... 2.458
330.... 6.519
1/8.... 9.515
MPH... 82.59
1000.. 12.045
1/4.... 14.166
MPH... 107.05

Have you messed with the boost or torque management for first gear? That is what I would suggest. EnufPWR was cutting 1.9s on street tires when he got it dialed in.

Damn.....14.1 at 107, yeah limit ur boost in first gear. I hit a 14.1 at 99 hehe

My boost builds gradually up to 16 psi in 1st gear.

LOL i love in ur sig where it says "What is this "traction" that you speak of?" But yeah, limit the boost, and you will turn that 14.1 into a low 13

My clutch still holds perfectly, and axles are still in pretty good condition, I think I'm gonna concentrate and further profecting my tune (last nights runs were on a rough tune), getting an interceptor scan gauge and a wideband, then some forged pistons, and maybe port the blower.
