Hoosier a6 slick

Does anybody know if the 275/35/r18 hoosier a6 road racing slick would work on the stock lsj 18's? Thanks

Too wide for the stock wheel and if drag racing is your goal, the sidewall is too stiff to get good traction off the line like real drag slicks.

will it fit, yes. should you use it, no. thats way to much overhang of the section width. if you're road racing the tire will more than likely come off during a turn. for drag racing its just not even the rigt tire all together.

Yeah I know it's a road racing tire. The only reason I was looking to get 2 of them is because I found some really cheap, and I don't wanna go a full drag slick that would just be way too much traction. I'm not 2 stepping and don't have $700 axles ya know. I was just looking for something I can roach off and have some fun with at the strip that would get me a little better 60's. I think they would do the trick. I know they're a good bit softer than a street tire, plus more surface area hitting the track= better traction

then get some n/a 17s and a 26/7/17 MT motorcycle slick. or a 25/7/18 on the stock wheels. but you still won't be able to drive on the street.

if you want something to drive on the street and take to the track on the stock 18's get a 245/40/18 MT ET Street Radial II

Well thanks for all the info guys haha. If I don't like them i'll just sell em I guess. I have 4 spare wheels so it's not really a big deal. I'm just cheap. Hatrick are you really selling your car?
