Canada Track tonight, new p.b., 13.6 @ 101 (Redline)

did 5 runs in my Redline before were were rained out...

got my personal best e.t today on one run, and my personal best 60' on another run.

1st run was my personal best so far
13.678 @ 101.01 with a 1.952 60'
this was a race against a Talon that did 13.466 @ 107.84

the remaining runs were all in the 13's
but my trap speed dropped down to 98
this has me so confused....in prior weeks my traps have been as high as 101-103, maybe even a 104
I don't understand why the trap speed is dropping.
I want to go faster, and don't know how!?!

my 5th run I got my best 60'
a 1.861
this run was a 13.737 @ 99.55

GM stage kit, Billetflow 2.7 pulley, K&N cai, Hoosier dot slicks

Generally, the better your 60' time, the lower your trap speed.

Hey Andrew!

mmm.. .i wouldn't complain about ur time But as soon as i get sub 2.2's on my 60ft, i will be hunting you down with my s/c cavy. Might even borrow some slicks to get off the street tires.

Can't wait to get back to the track. Figure i should be there next friday..when the doc says my knee is ok to drive again. lol.

what's the altitude up there you've got to be running faster than that thats almost a 12 second car here in Florida.

yeah, it was weird seeing ya there but not driving!!
hope that knee heals up real quick for ya, and I'm lookin forward to lots more runs against you, I always enjoy those side-by-side's we do so often, and I can feel you chompin at my heels the last few runs, so i know you're real hungry!!!

good times man, keep in mind the air varies greatly day to day, that is prolly one of the reasons you are seeing varying traps

september ought to be nice, up to 25 degrees, the first two weeks should be pretty dry, rain might increase towards the end of sept tho....

lookin forward to it!!
