how did I do?

Well how did I do my first time ever down the track. 1/8 mile track wat would I be if these runes where on the 1/4 mile as always advise would be great.

Mods are 2.8,60s,catback,ottp h/e, and a base tune from a friend of mine...still need to dial it in

This was the best run of the night for me. No burn out was done on this pass

Reaction=.1801
60ft=2.2612
330ft=6.2377
1/8=9.3555
Mph=78.17

Reaction=.2485
60ft=2.3682
330ft=6.4731
1/8=9.6063
Mph=78.45

Reaction=.4382
60ft=2.6043
330ft=6.5300
1/8 et=9.6341
Mph=78.51

Did more runs but all were worse....

Ps. I did search and found similar times but it was an ss/tc

Your 9.3 run was probably good for a high 14 and your 9.6 runs were probably a low 15.

And the 9.3 run is a 14.5 acording to the 1/8 to1/4 calculator.

those calculators are just a estimate/reference. 14.5 is barely different than a high 14. I'd put money that you would run consistent low 15's right now with a good run breaking into the 14's.

I know there just a reference.....I was just stating wat it said and I agree I would probably run low 15s to high 14s till i get better at launching.

Any advise?

grind your calipers down a tad, 15" wheels and slicks.

If you are going to drag race, set your car up for it. You wouldn't go rally racing with a 100 dollar all season tire would you?

It's just too difficult and not worth the clutch or axles to try and drag race on street tires.

All I have is GM stage 2 and a K&N drop-in filter. The 8.9 1/8 was from the 13.7 run. I have also ran a bunch of 13.8-13.9s all with 9.0 1/8 miles.
