My SPFD civic build (with training wheels)

Well, this winter I built a civic motor for fun. I dont feel like typing all the **** again so ill just copy it from my other forum.

Overveiw of build

96 civic CX. gutted to the max.

B18a1
-81mm 10.1:1 wiesco pistons
-eagle H-beam
-ARP everywhere there is a stud.
-clevite bearings all around
-stock crank
-GSR head. stock for now.

-AFI front mount turbo manifold T4 open flanged
-Bullseye Performance S366 66mm turbo.
-Garrett 24.5 x 12x 2.5 intercooler
-AFI catch can kit

Will be getting springs, retainers, after my first tune. hopeing to rev out until 10K

Aiming for 450whp as of now. Sleeved block comming soon and going for 700+

onto the pics!
second day of owning the car

day 3 of owning the car

interior finished minus seat and roll cage

moderatley shaved bay. will get a wire tuck as well

had this motor built before i even had a car selection in mind

motor in car finally

Very good quality unit! AFI all the way!

some headlight trimming will be required to fit the trubo most likely

decent sized turbo. this will hold me over for a while

my parts truck

after the tune, the first thing this car will get is a paint job, roll cage, race seat, and a chute set-up!

That car cant weigh more than 2000lbs
im guessing in the 1900lb range,450 hp would net 9sec times ( if traction and suspension setup is right) and NHRA requires a chute for 135mph or 9.99 and lower.

My friend has a turbo CRX. With either a B18B LS or B16A depending on conditions. lol. Nasty fast. My other friend has a turbo, fully built B18 GSR motor that makes almost 500 dyno hp. Traction issues. haha

yea. power is easy to come by in these things. i dont understand where the hate comes from. the fact that most back yard D-series builds can hang with almost every car on this site should say something.

cant wait till i source a good sleeved block. on street tires traction will be an issue in every single gear

i cant wait to get a sleeved setup. may have to ditch this turbo though. although itll flow fine up until 800hp or so.
